I went on maternity leave in July 2011, I made sure all my documents were in order at the Randburg labour department so that I could get my payout on time since I would not get my full salary, when I was at the labour dpt a lady there who also claimed for UIF Maternity funds, warned me that the people at the labour centre dont contact you if there is a problem with your payout, and they never answer the phone number they provide you with to enquire, they just leave your payment, until you have to go there yourself to find out what is going on, and this is exactly what happened with me, all my documents from my side was handed in, they told me to check my account on the 15 August, this week, I made contact with them just to find out that they needed documents from my old employer, which I then provided to them, but they are now insisting that my employes dates are wrong for which I took maternity leave even though I emailed them my maternity leave contract for 2003, they refuse to release my payout even though Wesbank has provided them with my maternity leave dates and my contract, I have debit orders going off today, and no money for those debit orders, but do you think they care Add a new Department of Labour Report Inappropriate report?
