HEADLINE	delays in maternity UIF payouts
I am currently on maternity leave and is due to receive my last uif payout The first month's payment was fine, but I wouldn't really know if there were any hassles with that as I used a company to help me with the process. the only thing is, they only help you until that first pay out, after that you have to submit your forms yourself, which I don't have a problem with My problem is that every month I've had to call and ask if they had received my documents and when wold the money be paid in? I especially sent the documents via registered post to make it easier. When I spoke to them today ( as I posted this month's documents more than a week ago) they had still not received my post. I was also told I'm clueless! when I phoned the post office, they informed that the letter has been ther since Saturday (19/11). when Marike phoned me back, I asked her how often they collected their post and she told me that they do it everyday, which is clearly a ****because then they would have received my letter by now!!! When I asked if there is anyone I can speak to about the pathetic service I was told no, there is some registry dept, but they don't take calls from the public. What nonsense!!??
