Rude, Disrespectful Staff!!!! |
|
I have gone to the Department of Home Affairs quite a lot in the past few months. Every time that i have left there i was so angry that i shivered. The first major incident was when i wanted to go get my passport renewed, as i was leaving for Canada in December early January and it would expire in June. They could not give me the correct information. So this week Thursday i took my sister to apply for her passport, (she is 18, and i could not think of sending her in alone) We sat down and waited, there was a lot of people so i asked if i could fill in the form so long and then when its our turn, it would be quicker for us and for them, they said i must sit at the table and fill in the form, i told them ill do it from the benches as i don't want to go before any one that has been there longer than me. The lady with the security uniform started yelling at me that there was people in front of me......so now i ask?! Then the other lady very rudely told me that her passport photos didn't show my sisters ears, and i asked if that would be a problem, and she threw the photo on the desk!!!They discussed me in their native language and laughed at me. I felt very violated. Not very happy!!!!
