We applied for my daughters citizenship nearly 18 mths ago...We are still wating for finality.. thye have lost documents etc and that has meant going back to the Home Affairs to re submit etc... No one can tell you a thing... Telephone no's they tell you to call jsut ring and ring..When you get hold of someone it is never there responsibiltiy always someone else's.. On the Home Affairs website various senior officials cell no's and emails addresses appear, you are wasting your time sending e mails and sms's to those they remain unanswered and if they find out it is Home Affairs business silence prevails and and correspondence ends there... On the website there is a complaints link.. they are also unanswered... A dismal display of customer service and incompetence... |
