My husband applied for a confirmation letter for a name change 11 months ago. I was told it would take approximately 3 months for a letter to be sent out. 3 months passed i was then give a case no. and a call center number to assist us. Every two I call them they say they are awaiting feed back from head office, today was the worse apparently they can not find my husband file - so I asked the lady if in 11 months it can not be found is there ever a possibility it being found guess what she said she thinks so. So I asked approximately how long will that be was unable to give me a time period. This letter is so vital in my husbands parents estate. I need to know if there is any other route to get a confirmation letter for a first name change. By the way i have emailed my husband previous ID with original name and new ID with new name. |
