Change of name and surname

I have applied for a change of name and surname on 29/4/2011, this process is supposed to take a total of 7 months. It is now the 9th month and I have had absolutely no joy from the call centre or the Randburg branch. All I hear is 'your application is being processed', no-one can provide me with information regarding how long this process is going to take or if anything has been done about my application. Not only is the branch and call centre unhelpful but they are also rude. I received a case number and still have no joy from the so called escalation process. I would like answers!!!
