8 months ago I bought 2 tickets for an event on [URL Removed] using my credit card. Computicket's policy is that to collect your tickets, you need to bring the same credit card to a Checkers/Shoprite etc. During the 8 months after I bought the tickets, I changed my bank. Meaning I no longer had that credit card. So fast forward to yesterday, and I go collect my tickets. You'd think that Computicket might anticipate someone not having the same credit card after almost a year. Needless to say, nobody at Checkers or at Computicket had the slightest idea about what to do. "Sorry - no credit card, no tickets." Despite the fact that I held a reference number and confirmation email, this wasn't good enough. After 1.5 hours standing in Kenilworth Centre Checkers, fighting with them (and getting a world of abuse hurled at me) they eventually shoved me in the back room (to avoid me making a scene in front of the happy shoppers). Another, lengthy phonecall to Computicket ended with the Checkers staff getting a reference number to print the tickets - the SAME REFERENCE NUMBER I BROUGHT IN THE FIRST PLACE. Shocking service, **** attitudes and a borderline ********** system. AVOID |
