Real lousy attitude for return of goods.

My daughter bought me a beard trimmer for Xmas which she thought would make a fine back up if the one I normally use packed up. What she didn't know is that I already have another similar, brand new, one,which I bought from Clicks months ago. When she went to ask for a refund or credit for the one she had bought the manageress inspected it and said it had been used. My daughter phoned me and put me through to this "lady' who I told I had not even opened the packaging and it must have been a used returned item. She then told me, very abruptly, that my daughter would get a credit. After closing off the call she told my daughter that I had been very abusive to her - which I hadn't - in front of other customers and embarrassed my daughter . Apparently a friend of my daughter also had an unpleasant experience with this "lady" Maybe Clicks should do some customer relations training to their management staff. We have spent quite a lot of money at Clicks over the years and it really makes me feel that we should rather use Dis-Chem or some other similar outlet if this is the type of attitude my family gets from the Clicks staff.

Quite Impressed: Was phoned quite quickly and told my complaint would be investigated as soon as possible bearing in mind that it was over holiday period.
