You have a shelf with old Xmas stock. A ribbon says (have the pic as evidence) 50%off reduced price. You have another shelf indicating that the price is already reduced. So, my wife and I and two other customers debate this and decide that the shown price is the reduced price off which is then taken discount. So, we decided to get some goods. Of course, the price shown was the reduced price - although not indicated. Look, I left the stuff, but the manager explained that the wording was ambiguous meant that the price was already discounted -to wit - I showed him that the ribbon said otherwise.he found this amusing but pretty much said tough luck.the cashier on the other hand got quite annoyed with these pesky customers. 2things went wrong here. None the less I shall take the advertising issue further, the staff attitude is your problem. Pity clicks has got to this level. |

Your experience at our branch in Pavillion was certainly not of the standard we aim for, and we sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused. We will be addressing your comments on the service you had received with the Store and Regional Managers for further action. Regarding your query on the shelf pricing, we wish to advise that we are obliged to advertise the current selling price of the products on our shelves and would therefore like to confirm that the "50% off already marked down" indicates that these products has already been marked down and the discount has been included in the current price. The items currently on promotion range up to 50% off and the store will be able to tell you the original selling price on each individual product. Please accept our apologies for any confusion.
