I paid off my clicks credit card on the 19 December 2011. On the 5th of January 2012 i called the call centre and asked them if they would continue billing me if i don't use the card because i was not owing it anymore. I was told they would charge me a yearly fee, i asked them to close the account and i was told that i need to pay 72.63 that was still outstanding. I paid the money the i was told to send email to have the account closed, i sent an email to [Email Removed] then i received an automated response to say may email was received and it will be attended to. To my surprise today i received an sms saying that I have a balance of R433 and i need to make a payment by the 03/02/2012. How this is possible i don't know, when i phone customer service they send me from pillar to post telling me that no email was received from me and i have to pay that amount. |
