| HEADLINE | No street lights for 5 weeks and no response |

We have had no stree lights for 5 weeks leaving our streets exceptionally dark and a perfect hunting ground for criminals, we had a hige robbery last night. I phoned JHB City power for the first time 5 weeks ago - with a promise of turn around times within 7 - 14 working days. I have subsequesntly called 4 other time and logged the complaint ont he website - but to no avail. This morning when I phoned for the 4th time - I literally got put on hold 4 times and was just being switched from one department to another. I was at no time rude at all and yet the staff were unhelpful and unfriendly with an appailing attitude. I pay rates and taxes of over R1300 per month and for what - to be treated like this. This is disgusting and yet again an example of how the infrastructure and service in this country is falling apart! |
