While Im happy that the Prepaid Meter was installed on my property, I have a problem with the following: 1) No notification was received from anybody that City Power was planning on installaing the prepaid meter on my property. 2) The City Power 'representative' did not ask to speak to the home owner and just did the installation. 3) When the installation was complete, no or little information was provided and no contact details were left. So effectively, since I have no details, I can lay a complaint of trespassing against City Power with the Poilce. I would like City Power to provide feedback on the following: 1) Why was no notification given? 2) Who pays for the installation? 3) I paid an amount of R2000 into my 'old' City of JHB account. what happens to that money? 4) How does one now pay for water, sewrage and refuse services?
