Lights out for over 24hrs and no service

The lights in Honeydew went off when lightning struck on Sunday,05 February around 16h00. I started contacting City Power to enquire on the status of the situation, on the first three accounts I spoke to a Call Centre Agent named Zodwa, on all three instances she promised that the lights would be fixed by 20h30 and that a Technician called Phineas had been dispatched to our area to fix the electricity. Around 23h30 the electricity was still not back and I called the City Power call centre and spoke to Liz who was totally rude and unwilling to assist by giving feedback regarding the situation, she instead informed me that my area belongs to Eskom, I called Eskom and they informed me that they do not supply our area. I called City Power immediately afterwards and spoke to Fanele and she gave me the same nasty, negative attitude that Liz did and was unwilling to assist. I find their service utterly rude, poor and disgusting, I don't know why we pay them to supply our electricity if they don't have the capacity to give a good service to their clients.
