I have bough property in a development within Melkbosstrand. I have been trying since April this year to get the rates and taxes bill from the City of Cape Town. But they keep on informing me that the area has not been zoned yet and they are unable to supply me with a billing. What rubbish is this and who is not doing their jobs here??? This specific development is more than 2 years old, so how is it possible that the residents in the complex have still not received municipal billings??? And when I eventually do received it, it will be a huge amount and the City of Cape Town will expect payment immediately. Here I am being an honest citizen and would like to pay the City of Cape Town for services, however they are unable to facilitate me with a bill. Very poor service! Does anybody have any advice for me on how to deal with this? |
