HEADLINE	Grass Garage closed
We have been selling vehicles for the past 3 years on the so called new Grass garage opposite Rola Toyota in the Strand, after being chased away from the old grass garage near the Strand golf course. Now, all of a sudden, boards were erected indicating that no one are allowed to park there, infact the law enforcement department of Cape Town issued fines yesterday to people who parked there. Our municipality did not even talked to us about this issue. Why did't they act 3 years ago???. The people, who work at Rola was warned beforehand, so that no tickets were issued to them, but the poor buggers who is not working at Rola were issued with tickets. This is how our law enforcement department works. The national gowernment wants the people to create jobs for themselves, but our DA municipality do all in its power not to let it work. It is no use to go and talk to our representative in the municipality. We had someone who spoke to him before, but frankly, i dont think he will be of any use to us. That is not the way to do it, we have to work hard to earn a living, but we do not need to be chased by people who earn a salary every month, of whom a lot do not really earn their salary.
