| HEADLINE | BLATANT DISCRIMINATION ON BREE STREET |
||
|
On Monday, whilst on lunch I walked down towards Long street to get a bite to eat. En route, I overheard a black man saying to the car guard, "I don't have to pay do I, leave it for the white man", and laughed as he climbed into his car and drove off. BLATANT discrimination, and I know for a FACT that I have overpaid on my parking several times on Pepper street (Near buitengracht) but I never bother arguing over a few rands. But now I see it is more about the PRINCIPLE. WHAT CAN BE DONE ABOUT THIS?! Reverse Apartheid- It's disgusting! If a white man had been overheard saying this, there would be an uproar. Time for some equality please! |
