7 WEEK DELAY OF VEHICLE LICENCE DISC

I applied to renew my license disc online and got the response on the 5th October and then made a payment the following day. In the response email I was requested to send a copy of ID and proof of residence/address, which i did. I should have received my disc in the next 8 working days. On the 26th Oct I called the call centre (0860103089) to enquire as I had not received the disc. I was then told that it was sent to my old address. How can this happen when it is indicated on the application form where it should be send? I then resent (emailed it to contact.us@capetown.gov.za and cc'd vehicle.licence@capetown.gov.za ) again and I was promised to have it within 8 working days. Today (18th November) I called the call centre, believe me, I still do not have the disc. The agent told me my documents are on their system but could not give me answers as to why it has not been send to me, so I asked for her supervisor, Nonzuzo. All she said was that they will print and send the disc, how long it would take she couldn't't tell me. If the documents are on the system, why is no one following up with them? Aren't online services supposed to simplify things for users? So much incompetence!!!!
