POOR AFTER SALES SERVICE

I bought a Bantam pickup early in January from Lorenz at Citton Gezina. From day 1 - problems The key alarm button was faulty. Shortly after, the right front bumper came loose, when I checked, it had been in an accident. The bumper was placed over the damaged bodywork to conceal this, paint cracks in the bumper were not visible at a glance. The brackets where the bumper attaches to the bodywork was broken and headlight was loose. I WAS NEVER INFORMED THAT THE BAKKIE HAD BEEN IN AN ACCIDENT!!!! We arranged to have it fixed. The key was fixed by Metro Auto, works fine now. The pickup has been for repairs twice. First the wrong side was fixed...lol, even after my wife left a note with the office with a list of problems. Then the Bantam went in again for the bumper repair. No repairs were done - they needed the vehicle for at least 3-4 days to fix it. Problem is: I stay in Pta but work in Benoni. I need a courtesy car for that period, I do not have alternative transport. Lorenz promised to arrange courtesy a car - next day informed me they no longer provide courtesy cars. I FIND THIS WHOLE SITUATION UNACCEPTABLE!!!!! Dealing with them has been a painful experience!!!!!

From Citton Cars side we want to appoligise for any inconvenience caused with your purchase. However, you have purchased a pre owned vehicle and we can not guarantee a faultless car. However we do send all our vehicles to Dekra in association with the AA to do a roadworthy and 101 point test for your purchase convenience. We have not and will not ever show you away for any repairs. You are welcome to bring back the vehicle for the repairs. It is our company policy not to give out loan vehicles. We did not repair the wrong side of the bumper but only secured the loose end. We contacted you to inform you that we were not happy with the condition of the bumper and are willing to repair it for you at our cost. Please contact us asap so that we can attend to your bumper repair. Just for the record, the vehicle was not in an accident and only cosmetic repairs were done to the vehicle. Regards. Utterly Disgusted: Firstly I never said Citton refused to do the repairs. The inconvenience of taking it back a 3rd time causes my frustration. On 6/1 before I signed the documents, I couldn't test drive the vehicle as it was being serviced. I could not inspect the vehicle properly. I request a copy of the Dekra roadworthy inspection document. Surely a loose bumper will not pass a roadworthy test as it is not safe. I will have the bumper repaired at my own cost - I have no trust in Citton Cars to do a proper job
