I bought a Hilux bakkie from Martin on 14/06/2011. It had been through roadworthy, car valet, everything was done great! However, less than 4 months and less than 7000 km later i get a puncture and take the bakkie to Exhaust and Tyre city to fix the puncture. That was the least of my worries. The guys there had to replace all four shocks, they were completely worn, due to this the right rear tyre is almost worn on the inside and needs replacement. That's not all, the front right wheel housing is bent and needs to be replaced. Because of this, the wheel alignment cant be done and the direct result of this, the right front wheel is running down on the inside and I'll have to replace that tyre every 20000km, unless I have the housing replaced. To sum it all up, I haven't had my bakkie for more than four months, and I just spent R2600 to replace the shocks, will have to replace all four tyres and a wheel housing. I'll take the bakkie tomorrow to Citton cars and see what they have to say about this. |

| Utterly Disgusted: I went to Citton cars early on Saturday (24.09.2011) morning and spoke to Martin, he told me that the office staff doesn’t work over weekends and that he needs to get my customer file from them. Once he has that, he'll give me a call on Monday (26.09.2011). Since then, I have not heard a single word from them. Will call them today and ask what’s going on. | |||
