| Everyone in Tzaneen was quite excited when our brand new centre opened, with a nice bright and clean Checkers at the heart of it. It just takes one bad apple to spoil the experience - today it was the member of staff behind the cigarette counter - slouching all over the counter, completely ignoring the customer - me - right in front of her, launching into a loud conversation with her friend three meters behind me, so that eventually I had to find another pay point. It seems a minor irritation, but it's this kind of sloppy, slovenly attitude that creeps in so easily into SA businesses, and I feel that management has to take responsibility for ensuring that their staff always be courteous and professional. | |||
