a Year ago i subscribed to the Cell-C, 2G Internet contract at R150 per month. One month after it expired, i went to ask if it will go on on a month to month basis or what the case might be. I was informed that the contract expired and that it does go on, on a month to month basis until i discontinue. I was also informed that there are a price difference. They informed me that it now is R300 per month. Yeah, 100% increase. They could not answer me when i asked them why i was NOT informed about the whole situation. Is this how they try to survive, by NOT informing you that they increase contracts by 100%. If not mistaken, accoring to the Consumer act, one is supposed to be informed what will happen and that the contract does NOT just carry on and on and on. THINK TWICE BEFORE YOU GO TO CELL-C. |

| Quite Impressed: 3 days later i was contacted and the lady informed me that i was misinformed and that my contarct will carry on, on a month to month basis with the original contract price that is R150 per month. So, a bit of a communication gap between branches. Anyway, i am happy now to carry on with my contract at this stage. | |||
