Contract has expired but still getting a bill

Hi there I'm hoping i can get help on this matter. I had a contract with cell c that expired end of May 2011. I had not read the fine print on the papers delivered with the cellphones as the contract was taken over the phone. I assumed when the contract ends the billing will stop and my numbers will be removed from a contract to a prepaid option. Two months later when i got a billed that was when i was informed of the steps I had to take to cancel the contract. The required was a cancellation letter and payments of what was owing. It has been 5 months of cancellation letters and still getting billed. What is my option now? I wont keep paying this bill when i'm being charged ************ every month. I need advise on the steps to take.

Quite Impressed: The service was more than I expected because of the run around I had to endure for so many months. It was  resolved immediately.
