When Money Matters More Than The Customer

Being very impressed with the bikes at this shop, my husband,an avid biker recommended it to a family member who wanted to upgrade.Mr James Ridley who assisted us was unfortunately the epitome of the second-hand car dealer so often depicted in the American Movies.He comes across as very professional until you pay.Then he has no further interest in you as he rushes off to "make his target".He will have you buy the warranty as he relays stories of people dying on the side of the road as they did not have the medical assistance.But when you collect the papers and the warranty isnt there,he is not around to assist you.Should you complain about him,he will phone to apologise but will then justify his actions.He will promise you delivery by Mon or Tue,but dont expect to hear from him if by Tue pm your bike has not arrived yet.R38000.00 in cash might not be what he considers a "target breaking deal", but what James doesnt realise is that in a year or so, my nephew will be back to upgrade again.And being bikers,they will talk bikes and shops.We will still refer those in our bikers community,but when they walk through the door the name James Ridley will be on their lips,with a NOT in front!
