Been paying R464 for the last couple of months. Received a letter to say that my premium will now be R948! Phoned the contact center only to be told that apparently a few months back something changed on my household contents and some staff member never activated/approved it and I was therefore not been billed for my household cover since then. I mentioned that I had recently received quotes from 3 other companies, one of which was R638 for the same cover. After hearing this, the agent put me on hold to "see what he could do". Came back with an updated premium of R200 less???!!! Still at least R100 more than the cheapest other quote I received but how do you manage to drop R200 just because a client checks their premium? This is not the first time this has happened either! I am currently waiting for 2 additional quotes from other insurers before I make my decision. PS. Your car and motorcycle cover is over 2 times as much as company X. |

Not Impressed:
Premium has been reduce by about R200. Still haven't received an email with my new policy details. Logged into web portal to view policy and it still shows the old policy details. Used the "Call back" option on the website for someone to call me back regarding this but no call to date. As for a competitive premium, my new premium still exceeds other quotes by a hundred or two. |
