CHANGE INSURANCE COMPANIES IN A HURRY!!!

I have been with Budget Insurance Brokers for 7 years now and have 2 policies which I pay for - one is for my son's vehicle. R2500 is a lot of money to spend on insurance policies when you get sub -standard service and it makes me very nervous as to what will happen should myself or my son ever have to claim!! I have tried on 8 occassions this week - 7 phone calls and one email to simply get my residentail address changed and they cannot even get that right but are very quick to put in BOLD on their schedule that if your address is incorrect you are not insured!! Perhaps they should retrain their staff and teach them how to write and spell and the manager needs a course on customer service and how to return calls! I have even emailed them to say I would be changing to another insurance company but nobody has felt the need to respond. Needless to say that I will now be changing to Outsurance!

Utterly Disgusted: I was contacted by a Mr. Louis Meyer, who assured me that my complaint would be resolved & he would phone me the following morning. The 9th Feb, I  did  get a phone call but not from Louis - from a consultant to say that my policy is cancelled! When asked why, he told me that my payment didn't go through. I wasted another 45 mins of my time and airtime fighting with Nedbank who advised me that the debit order was returned in error by BUDGET! I have now joined OUTSURANCE and my son will as well.
