I had my car serviced by BMW Northcliff in January. When I went to pick my car up, I made an EFT payment to the branch. Upon arrival, I was told that they don't accept an EFT payment and should come back the following day once the payment have been cleared. I couldn't wait, so I paid them in cash for the service. They said they would reverse the EFT and refund me the money. A week later, no response. I sent them banking details and asked them to EFT the refund to me. I waited the whole day, still no response. I phoned them and was put on hold for 10+ min while they transferred me around... No one there to answer my call... I left work early and drove there... 15:00 on a monday and the service manager was gone already, no one in the accounts department to help and best of all: They want to pay me with a CHEQUE!!!!! This after they forced me to pay them CASH!!!!! I said it was unacceptable, so the service consultant, Joan Mans said she would find out. I phoned her the following morning and asked NOT TO BE PAID BY CHEQUE and if there is a problem with that, she should let me know so that I can take the matter up with the dealer principle.
