2 months and claim has still not been paid out

Son had tonsillectomy on 6Dec. Phoned call centre 2 weeks before to try and find out what part of the doctor's quote they would be able to pay. Couldn't get through to call centre, email that was sent on 29Nov was only answered on 13Dec. I had settled the doctor's bill on 13 December and forwarded the claim to the broker. I followed up on 16Jan, only for her to realise she never sent the claim to Bestmed. On 23 Jan she said Bestmed would pay end Jan, and then the claim will be forwarded to the In-hospital Gap cover. On 2Feb I enquired why the money has not been paid yet. She said it will reflect 4-5 working days after the 31st, thus the 6th. Yesterday I asked her again to follow up, explain the complaint procedure, and advise on procedure to give notice with Bestmed. She didn't reply. This morning I again enquired, she said she would get back to me. Has not gotten back to me yet. No-one at the call centre is answering! If you choose the option for claims, they want to put you through to someone else. If you just hold for the next operator, the phone never gets answered. I have only been with Bestmed for 4 months, but I'm fed up. I want my money, and I want to go back to Medihelp!
