| I have Purchased a Samsung 13kg Washing machine in late December 2011, With interview stage with the Manager I have hesitated to sign the contract as I was not at that stage in the position to purchase the item cash, but was sure of it to do so within less than 3 months of initial purchase date, but surely could not wait as our previous machine just decided its duty days are over, I have understood that I have the option to settle the account in full at any stage within the 3 months as I promised but was advised to take the full finance term to properly afford the item in the interim while awaiting funds, on the 16th of February 9:30 AM I have visited the store and requested the item to be settled and with a initial price of R3999 the outstanding balance is R5862.19 and interest and insurance is apparently charged on a monthly basis? I have requested the manager to call me that was not present in the store and according to the staff will be in later that day, to date NO call, and I can not see why I should pay R1800 for less than 1 month on finance, yes contract signed but any financial inst. has contracts and allow settlement according to the NCR whats up with Lewis's own rules? | |||
