Unwanted packages/service/bundles

I have always received superb service from Autopage, but lately, unknown to me, bundles/packages get activated on my account which I must pay for - once noticed and reported it takes a while before these unwanted things get deactivated. How the dickens does this happen? When I receive a calls and the caller starts off with "Mrs Bouwer, as a valued customer of Altec Autopage ..", I already say no thank you - I am not interested - yet whatever they are offering gets activated on my account. What part of NO THANK YOU don't they understand - last year it was a "Lifestyle package", lately it is MTN Enhanced Voicemail Plus (I don't even know what this means or how it works) but I must pay for it - even though I have requested that it be deactivated. The sms's that I receive stating that I have unclaimed mobile points on my account - I ignore and delete them. What can I do to have my number concealed and not be put on any "special offer" list or "valued customer" list. Please help - this is driving me crazy. *** bless and have a great day.

Over the Moon: Thank you Jason - it is just a pity that it is not really Autopages fault - it's just that the agents at the call centers do not understand "no thank you".  Believe it or not a Sipho also stating that he is from Autopage called me yesterday also starting the conversation with "As a valued customer bla-bla-bla" - I refer him to what I said on Hello Peter - he put the phone down.  Thanks a lot once again.  I hope this is the end of it.  *** bless
