POOR SERVICE

I purchased a Tablet from the above service provider, which includes a monthly 2G data Bundle. The transaction and delivery was done efficiently. HOWEVER, notwithstanding the fact that the Tablet was received on Friday morning, I have been unable to get Altech Autopage to activate the sim card. I have made at least 3 calls and every time I am informed that it is not yet activated (yeh right!) and that they will expedite the activation once again. Altech Autopage does promise activation within 2-24 hours. I need the Tablet for work and I am therefore seriously prjudiced. Charles

Utterly Disgusted: What a joke, still no service!  Not sure what to say about telephone call or above posting? Misrepresentation? Phoned Customer "Care"  at approximately 18h00 and after being placed on hold twice it was eventually confirmed that sim card is still not activated.  I must wait.... yes you guessed right - another 2 - 24hrs.  So what is new?  More like 24 days... This is the 2nd time in a couple of months that I have to experience this incompetency from Altech Autopage. Never again.
