In a nutshell I bought a new A3 S-tronic at end of Aug 2011. 4months later carpeting at drivers side starts to come undone (under protective mat)!! - I take the car to Audi Claremont who take pics and say they will contact warranty guys (16 Dec). A few days later no response so I email the sales rep to ask what is happening and voice my disappointment -response shocked by my email only a few days since discussion because of holidays German warranty on holidays blah blah eventually car is fetched to attend to problem. Outcome - damage is caused by a shoe heel - and will cost R8000 to replace carpeting - seriously??? car is 4 months old, I drive barefoot - so how is it caused by a shoe heel - car was only taken to one trim place?? Guess females are not able to buy audi's and drive with heels - they sure dont tell you this when they want the sale. This is unacceptable - its a brand new vehilce...certainly a case of passing the buck and poor after sales service.I will never recommend anyone to audi claremont!! Wonder if they'll respond to this complaint?? probably not! |
