Uninformed motor plan expirt cost me R4150

I called Audi Sandton the week of 16th January (around 18th) to book my car for a service as my service indicator came on the day before. When I called - I spoke to Claire, the Service Manager at the time and she told me the earliest booking I can get is 1st Feb and double checked my mileage with me at the time. I was not informed at the time I called that ito age my car would be out of motor plan during the next week and before I service it on the date they gave me. When I got to drop my car off around 07h30 on the day of service - I was informed by the sales person who checked my car in that my car's motor plan had expired on 23 January 2012 and I would have to pay for the service myself. He then graciously told me that he would give me a call wrt putting together an offer for a new car. I was annoyed about the anticipated R1500 that I would have to pay. I was then called during the day by the Service Manager, Mohammed that my brake pads would have to be changed and this amount got boosted up to R4150. My issue is that I was not informed that ito age my car would be out of motor plan between the time I called and the time my car was scheduled for a service
