I went onto a website [URL Removed] on the weekend of 10th Dec. I supplied my details to the website as i was interested in a particular vehicle a VW Golf 5 GTI 2. FSI. On 2011-12-13 i was contacted by Thabiso from Audi Centre in Menlyn and advised that the vehicle was in stock. As i reside in Roodepoort JHB we scheduled an appointment for the morning of Saturday 2011-12-17 and i was advised by the salesperson in question that he would expect me. I cancelled all other appointments with other dealers as well as personal plans for the day as i was anxious to get to Pretoria to view this vehicle. On the Saturday morning i prepared myself and family for the trip and just before departure contacted Thabiso on his mobile 0769781063 to advise that i was on my way and that i would be there within an hour which he confirmed was in order. As i departed he contacted me to advise that the car was all of a sudden sent in for a valet and that he was not sure when it would be back. On Monday 2011-12-19 no contact was made by the dealer and on e-mailing to enquire was told that the vehicle was sold. I do believe the salesperson's behaviour is unethical and wasted my time and resources. Add a new Audi South Africa Report Inappropriate report?
