30 December 2011 my car broke down in Dundee KZN and I called Audi assist to assist me. They came to my location and towed the vehicle and took it to Newcastle. The Newcastle garage opened on the 3rd of Jan 2012. It took Audi SA a week to realise they did not have the part in stock at RSA then started a further 2 week wait for them to order the part in Germany and on the 4th week they finally fixed my car and promised to deliver it in 5-7 working days in Gauteng where I am based. Today is the 7th working day and after numerous attempts to find out where my car is they don't know where it is. All I keep getting are promises to call me back and thats about it. Last week they refused to assist me with anything to travel as they said I must drop my business meetings and go fetch my car in Newcastle. I found myself relying on the human mobile coffins called taxis to get to work as I had no alternatives and yesterday spent the whole night in my blankets after being caught in the rain on my way back from church. No one deserves this kind of treatment. Not even some one who paid R20k for a car deserves this kind of treatment. Now no one cares or knows where my car is. |
