I took my car in to be fitted with a tracking device at the NetStar Midrand Head office and due to the extended waiting period I suggested that I return later when I prepared to wait. The manager offered to transport me back to my workplace and return the car when it was ready. When the car was returned to me I quickly discovered that my mobile phone headset was missing and reported it. To my horror , the manager informed me that it was my responsibility to ensure that I removed all valuables from my car and that NetStar would take no responsibility for the *****. To add insult to injury he added that he could not concern himself with “silly” things such as a headset. The value of the item is not at issue but, rather the fact that I have entered into a three year contract with an organisation that treats ***** so lightly and has no regard for its customers. Am I expected to entrust my belongings (my car) to a company that would ***** a headset from me? This company installs anti-***** devices and possess extremely personal information about me, there is simply no way I can be expected to continue our relationship after such a gross violation and unacceptable treatment. |
