I moved out of my house formally requested ADT on 26 January 2012 at 10:12 to cancel my contract and debit order. Audrey Combrink phoned me the same day to get information on the new tenant that moved into the house, but did not action my request. The debit order still went off on 31 January 2012 and I kept on receiving alarm activation alerts into February. I emailed Audrey again on 3 February 09:24 to follow up on why the contract wasn't cancelled, but this was ignored completely. I logged a query on the ADT website on 7 February 2012 to question why my contract wasn't cancelled and received an automated response that someone will be in contact within 24 hours. I did not receive any contact from them in 24 hours and replied again to get some feedback on my query. Once again, no response. I'm not sure if ADT is purposefully ignoring my queries in order to illegally continue taking money out of my account or if it is just plain uselessness. Either way, I need them to cancel my account and refund me for the debit order they took off for February. |
