| My ADT alarm was hit by lightening on the 21st January - two weeks ago. I reported this on the 22nd and was told that the technician could only come through on Wednesday the 25th. He replaced the main box but could not complete the job as he did not have a keyboard in stock. He then returned on the 27th, and said that everything was working. On the 30th my alarm went off and as I did not have a response from ADT I phoned them and they said they did not receive a signal at the control room. They said they would send the technician. I spoke to him on the phone and asked him to come after 4.00pm as I had left work early twice the previous week to give him access. He said he would contact me - he did not. I also sent an email to ADT explaining the above but have not had a reply. On Friday 3rd February I phoned technical and complained about the lack of service, that my home was unprotected and that insurance would not cover a claim as my alarm was not working. I insisted that the technician come through either that day or Saturday to sort it out once and for all. They said they would come back to me but did not. Its now Monday 6th February and I have not heard from ADT | |||
