Only wants money but not do the work correctly

I requested a quote from Adt on my current alarm. They proposed beams and I accepted the quote. Payment had to be done before installation. On the day of the installation they installed the beams. They then came to me and say I must sign the work order. I informed them that I can't sign as the system is not working. They said that it is not working because the beams need brackets and I must now first pay for this and book a new installation. They came 5 days later with the brackets but then the beams still didn't't work. the installer then had to go and get new beams. I just wonder if the brackets were really needed or is this a money making scheme. I then got a invoice for the labour and the brackets and refuse to pay as I see it as part of the first quotation. However the new beams started giving false alarms. On Thursday I booked a service again with reference number 6060480. I was told they will come on Friday. When I contacted them Friday afternoon it seems no service were booked and Keith from dispatch insisted that they had been at my house on Thursday. He then later said it was only a misunderstanding. Scary that one has to put ones life in a useless company like this

Over the Moon: I was contacted and a technician by the name of Andre came out at no charge and fixed everything. He acknowledge that the prev installation was inferior and corrected everything and I have not have any trouble with false alarms since Andre was there. Well done for fixing the problem
