| We joind ADT on 18/11/11,a tech was sent out the ffg week 2 install the radio trnsmtter @ our home.When he got here,he sed our alarm's PCB was totally dead & he had 2 cancel the instlatn!Our alarm has been WORKING & servicd 4 many yrs.If the PCB ws dead,how ws it functioning @ all?He then sed he did alarm instaltns over the wknd in his pvt capacity & we shld call him 2 hav a new alarm fittd.This was questnble,He markd the form he had brought with a big CANCELLED & left saying we shld call the office 2 hav them re-book a tech IF we sort out our 'faulty' alarm!The ffg morning,my daughtr set off the alarm by accdnt. Lo & behold, ADT calls!The gent I spoke with sed we r linked!Ever since then,we have had NO DECENT SERVICE from ADT.When our alarm is activatd,1 of the ffg occurs w/out fail:1.No1 calls AT ALL! 2.We get a call from ctrl room the NXT day or hrs l8r 3.An armd respns unit is dspatchd BUT ctrl room calls the NXT day & says they just rcvd the signal!When I calld 2 cancel the service which was free 4 3 mnths.(effectvly +/- 2 mnths were free),im told we hav 2 pay the bal of the 2yr contract!Yes we signd a contract but surely ADT is bound 2 provide a service if they expect payment | |||

| Not Impressed: ADT contacted us and said they will send someone out to test our alarm,the next day a technician came out. He spent about half an hour here testing and confirmed NO FAULT with our alarm, said he's happy with it. He said the problem must ****on the side of ADT. No word from ADT since! Today one of the outdoor zones tripped, I had no idea why and didn't feel safe as a woman alone to venture outside to check. ADT called OVER AN HOUR later! Are we supposed 2 be impressed the call wasn't a day late? | |||
