ADT signed off our system was in good working order. 24/11/2011 intruders broke in and our fixed panic button in the bedroom did not work. 13/12/2011 wrote to cancel my contract due to dissatisfaction with technician not checking all parts of alarm systm, yet signed it off as checked and other incidents of poor service. 19/01/2012 having no response to my cancellation contacted the call centre and was promised a call back. They still kept on debiting my account despite the 30 days advance notice! 31/01/2012 Having no call back I called again - told it would need to be escalated. 07/02/2012 Call centre person called and after explaining I was told it would need to be escalated. AGAIN! Pathetic - dont use ADT, technicians dont care, but sign-off all is working. Wait on getting the call centre takes forever and everyone is disempowered. CPA Act is there to protect consumers against poor and non-delivery of services. Nearly 2 months have expired and they have not cancelled my contract and still are debiting my account. |
