Since our property is surrounded by palisade fencing, we provided ADT with a remote control for the gate at our own expense (when their offices were still in Rossini Blvd Vdbp) attached to a keyring displaying our address details (just to make it easier for them). A recent visitation report (no J479851) from ADT stated that they could not gain access to the premises due to the palisade fencing. When following up on this, I was told by the Sasolburg branch (I suppose they moved operations to there) that they do not keep remotes anymore nor do they accept any new ones. I am now apparently to fit a box at my gate (I suppose at my own expense again) where the remote may be placed and to which ADT will be able to have access. True or not, that does not concern me What I need to know is; what happened to the remote I gave them (tagged with my address nogal) - who has it? What exactly is the use of the panic buttons in the house if ADT 'cannot access the premises'? After an emergency activation of the panic button, will they come back later when the gate is open? ADT gave me the e-mail address [Email Removed] - no response from them yet after various mails. NOW WHAT? Add a new Adt Security Report Inappropriate report?
