| I requested an upgrade to my alarm system on the 30 Nov with Arnold Vythelingham. I paid a large sum of money to ADT and requested that they install on saturday the 10th Dec as it is a complex install and I want to explain my requirements to the installers. I sms'd and called Arnold a few times during the week before installation and he confirmed that everything is in order for saturday. Saturday came and I again sms'd him on saturday morning at 10am which he again confirm that they will be coming to install. At 14h30 I phoned him and he tried to get hold of his manager, Michelle. After more than a hour he sms'd me apologizing for what "management has put me through". He explained that Michelle did confirm install. He gave me her number and I left voice and sms messages. It is now almost 10am on Monday and still no call from either one of them. Best of all is that Chubb security did quote me about R1000 less than ADT for the upgrade but I thought that I'll be loyal to ADT given the eigth years I was with them...so much for loyalty if this is the way you treat your customers and putting my family at risk due to incompetence! | |||

| Over the Moon: Very happy with the followup and resolution provided by Odette. Installation provided the very next day. Small hickup during installation but she again sorted it out immediately. Very impressed...just wish this type of service was provided from the start! | |||
