BRILLIANT SERVICE

My household & vehicles have been covered by ABSA iDirect for about the past 2 years. I traded one vehicle in on 27/01/2012 and did the change on the policy (which was done very quickly). Once the dealer collected the vehicle he noticed that the windscreen was cracked and I had completely forgotten to put the claim through so on Monday 30/01/2012 I called the claims department and explained the situation and that the vehicle was no longer on my policy but they did process it anyways and said that I should call later that afternoon to find out whether it would be authorised or not. I called at 16:00 and they informed me that it has been authorised and that the windscreen will be replaced by PG Glass Menlyn. THANK YOU ABSA iDirect - this is what insurance is supposed to be about - QUICK PAINLESS & EFFECTIVE claim payouts. The service I received is most definately worth more than the low premium I am paying.
