Credit Card App

I applied for a credit card last week wishing to take up the 8.8% offer. After a week I had to follow up to find out today that the app was declined. I asked for reason and response : I am listed on the credit bureau! I already have my free annual Transunion report and find there are no defaults etc. I inform the consultant of this and her response was 'I don't know".Am not sure if ABSA has a colour code to call clients with an application status regardless? Should I doubt Transunions report? Can somebody respond on behalf of ABSA or are potential clients too costly to give them a declined reason response?

Utterly Disgusted: So I got called by Dineo Molekwa as a token of you can't publicly notice  us on helopeter cos we sorry and will fix. Say it however you want but you not truly SAfrican, you  don't know your LSM@home. Take a few points from your agent  Steve who calls the bright green banks customer. Forget we even talked.
