In 2009 I went to my local ABSA branch regarding minimising cost on my account. The banker that handled my request completed all the necessary form and promised me from now on I will only pay a managment fee and that is all. I will not be charged per debit order and only limited amount on other transaction.. This never happened and recently it was dicovered. Now my question is here; who did not do his work properly. Who will take resposibilty for that. I am seriously considering moving my account to another bank. If ABSA can afford to lose customers, i realy feel sorry for them. I have taken it up with ABSA and gave them 48 hours to respond. They still have not came back to me .. Instead they sent me another application form. This is rediculous.. I am sure that there is other people that are in the same situation.. Just the mere fact that a management fee is subtracted show that I was in the bank and applied for this.. Could I please have a proper feedback on the situation otherwise , like I said I will close my accoun with ABSA and so will my wife. I am looking forward to your response. |
