There is not enough space to log my entire complaint. Banked with them for 22 years, they charge you excessively high bank charges and their directors go on national TV telling everyone that the South African public is complacent and won't easily change banks. I did and received an excellent package with FNB, not to mention the eservice. Long story short, after making sure on 11/ January 2012 that all fees and charges was paid up to date I tried to close the account today just to be told I now owe them R282.00 service fees (don't know how they can call it SERVICE fees) Guys, I know you need to get every cent possible because clients must be leaving by the dozens and soon there will be much less clients to rip off, but really now R282.00 to close my account. I will now take this to the banking ombudsman and every other forum and media that I can get access to. |
