| HEADLINE | destroying my wife’s dream |

| My wife Dr Carla Smit was trying to get car financing from ABSA form monday. As a new Dr this was a exiting step for her as this may have been her first car. We went to the Alberton branch and was sent to the personal banker department as my wife is a platinum card holder (made to stand in a queue because there is no real personal banker department). After doing the application she was told that she needs to pay a deposit after she asked if it was not possible to do the financing with the deposit included. Now it's a run around from one person to the next and no one seems able to help her get the financing. She left message after message for the banker to call her back but this never happened. I told my wife to move her accounts to a bank that will help her. ABSA did not know is that my wife became a partner in a practise in Dec and thy will move there accounts from ABSA as well . Myself and her 2 brothers DR,s as well will now do the same. Hope your happy destroying my wife's dream of having her first car. We will never do business with your bank again! | |||

Over the Moon:
Thanks to the fast response and the dedication from people like Quintin Swanepoel & Liezl de Kock my wife now has her car. Its just sad the the 2 people that did the most work in helping was stuffed around by some one else from ABSA and that this made the poses take up more time. Hats off to you 2 for restoring my trust in ABSA. I hope ABSA takes lessons from Quintin and Liezl on how to help customer the correct way Thanks you 2 |
