| HEADLINE | Converting to Gold package deal taken 10 months! |

In March last year i converted my existing cheque account to the Gold Package, where you pay R150 monthly fee which includes your gold credit card at no extra monthly fee. Today, 10 months later I am STILL being charged a monthly fee on my existing credit card as well as the R150 on my cheque card and my credit card has still not been changed over to the package! I had to keep phoning to enquire why it hadn't been changed and kept been told it was in the process and then eventually I was told that I had to go into my branch with my ID etc. to sort it out! I have been into the branch numerous times and have even had to take my documentation in to them twice as nothing has been received on the card division side. I keep phoning to enquire but my calls are not returned! How can you offer a "package" deal where each account has to be handled by a separate division, they should be converted simultaneously. I think it is shocking that for the last 10 months I am still being charged the monthly fee on my c/card when my whole reason for changing over was to avoid additional charges. I hope this will be sorted out soon as I am am seriously considering changing banks! |
