| I was contacted by a lady where I had originally opened my account to bring in my proof of residence as a FICA requirement. I did this , at Eastgate, the end of November 2011. I handed in my proof of residence, marriage certificate, licence with my maiden surname and my ID with my married surname. Today, a gentleman calls me and says that I have to go in to the bank before the 28 th of January with the documents AGAIN as there was an "error" showing on their side. He said that he does not know what the error is and he cannot help me with any information. He "advised" I call Eastgate to ask what the problem is. I did, only for the lady @ customer service to tell me that they don't know what document is missing and she cannot help me any further as she is not sure. My hands are tied, and so will my account it seems as I do not have the time to go into a branch to do the same thing I did less than 3 months ago. This has become more than an inconvenience as it seems that no one knows whats wrong and in turn they don't know how to fix it. | |||

| Quite Impressed: Daleen from ABSA Eastgate called within 24 hours to apologize about the mix up. She did have all my documents, just that there was one missing. She proceeded to email me the form she wanted me to sign and send back to her, which I did. Thank you for timeous response. | |||
