Last week I emailed my personal banker Hester van Eeden, who has been helpful and this complaint is not aimed against her at all- she should in fact receive a compliment.However, I emailed Hester and requested her to get someone to contact me who would help me with opening a trust account at ABSA.She promptly emailed Grant Ferreira to request his assistance-to date, her request has been ignored.I emailed Hester again and complained that I had no response.Hester promptly emailed Rita SM with the same request- to date that emailed has been ignored as well. All I asked for was general information, but clearly ABSA only cares about billing fees and not helping with customer queries. |

| Quite Impressed: I was eventually contacted by the relevant person who promptly sent me the correct information. If she had bothered to contact me when I originally requested, we could have sorted this out without me having to complain on this site. Nevertheless, I was given the correct information promptly after the complaint. And I am now rather impressed with Absa's efficiency after the complaint. | |||
